I walked in to find they changed Ezra's nasal CPAP mask to a high flow nasal cannula! This is a HUGE leap in the right direction. He is actually breathing all on his own now with the help of some extra oxygen. Apparently the CPAP was causing too much pressure against his fragile little nose. So they took a chance and swapped it out with the prongs and ever since he has been doing so much better, all his vitals have been great and he looks so much happier now that he can move around more freely and open his eyes! He gained 5 grams since yesterday and I can't wait to hold him again!
